I've heard from pretty much everyone that having a room near Patty-O's is annoying since the music is so loud. Tips on how to avoid this? Should we call beforehand ?

Just tell them when you arrive that you want to be away from Paty O's. If they give you a room in the 2000's it's probably too close and you will be kept awake. Some rooms aren't so bad apparently though. If you think you'll be up for the party - it doesn't matter. I'm not a fan of the music though - I need quiet so I ask for a room in the 5000s or by the quiet pool area.
If the room you get is too loud, they will usually change it for you.

Its not as bad as people say it is, it's actually kind of handy because its a short walk back when you're drunk out of your mind. Best way to ensure the music doesn't bother you is to stay at the party until the music stops ;)

We requested a room away from Patty-O's our first trip, but got stuck right outside. We emailed in advance I think. In fact, because we didn't want that room (it was flooded coincidentally as well), they wanted to send us off resort for a night - which we were really opposed to. So we stuck with it.

Any tips from repeaters would be welcome!!

There are a lot more rooms away from Paty O's than there are close to it, so odds are they wont offer you one in the first place - especially if you request so on check in.

    Great Room

Last time we were there I think we stayed in room 1225 ( I think) and it was a great room. It's was on the quite side on the second level and had it's own huge balcony which was shared with the room next to us. The couple ended up being a lot of fun. We are going to ask for the same room again. It was perfect. A friend of ours who went with us was right behind the bar a Paty O's and didn't seem to mind it.

We have been on the ground floor, second floor & third floor by Patty-O's. The second floor room was probably the best. Stay up and hit the sports pool after the music and there is no problem. The ground floor room was right behind the 3am hamburger grill. The carts rattling the dishes in the morning was the most annoying part.

If your gonna be up partying until the wee hours of the night and into the day light hours then a room over looking Payto's is good for you. They put us in a room right up the stairs on the second floor very close to all the action but if you plan on turning in early forget it... The next morning we got our room changed over looking the quite pool....much much better. Best thing to do is ask them where the room is to show you on a resort map and if you don't like the location then ask them for another room in the 500 block or the quite pool area.

We are one of those couples that always ask for a room near Paty O.

We dont stay for long, maybe just one or two nights. But we stay up late and love not having to walk too far from where the party is at.
