Ok, don't roll your eyes at me, but I have another newbie question that I'm sure has been answered, but even though I have a J.D. I can't seem to find the answer via search. If you look at the list of people who will be there at the same time as us, it's not that many people. Even if all of those people dress up according to the CC theme nights, we are talking 20 people. We occasionally visit LS clubs and LOVE to do theme nights, but we've been to parties before where we were the only people who dressed up and its hashtag awkward. So before we go spend a fortune on outfits, how many people really participate in the CC theme nights in April/May? If people don't participate in those, do they participate in the resort theme nights?

Also, just how skimpy can you get (it's hot that time of year in Cancun!)? I'm going to try to find pics on the site as examples. Is there a dress code at Paty O's? So like for lingerie night, that means you can actually wear just a bra and panties?

No worries. We dressed up for every night of our December visit, and while not everyone did it was a blast for all. It's a big resort with a lot of people and not all are familiar with this site, but they may be following the resorts themes. If you like to dress up then do it! It's a guaranteed good time whether you are dressed up, dressed casually, or not dressed at all! Make some friends and try all three!

When I told my husband about the themed nights he was skeptical and thought no one was going to dress up. Needless to say after the end of our first trip he told me we are going to plan ahead and get outfits for the next time we go :)

If your worried dress for white night/ red night/ lingerie and themes you can get away with normal clothes.

There are always enough people that dress up for the theme night but there are always enough that don't so it would work for you either way! If you check out our pics you will see my wife wears a sundress and I have a pair of tuxedo underwear on and we are with a young couple where she is in lingerie and he is wearing pants and a shirt. What can you wear, well that is up to you, yes a bra and panties are totally acceptable, so are pasties and angle wings;) You may see men wearing nothing but a sock or maybe a Crown Royal bag. Bottom line is you need something on your bottom it can be a very short skirt and no panties or just panties and an open shirt. You will see it all! The first time a woman walked by us on the dance floor in nothing but a little pair of panties and nothing else it was like WOW but then you realize that's more than she had on all day at the pool so it's fine. I'm pretty sure people wear stuff at TTR that they would never wear anywhere else. Go for it girl!
