I was here in October but didnt give a crap about the gym or exercise. Now I am hitting the gym everyday. How is it at the resort? What do they have? Treadmills, dumbbells, etc Thanks for any help Steve and Holly 2nd trip Aug 15 thru 20th
When we were there 3 years ago it was basic, meaning a couple of treadmills, a couple of stationary bikes and ellipticals, various weight machines, a full set of dumbells and other free weights. They have remodeled since then, and looking at the resort pics it has expanded a lot! I don't think you'll have any problem getting a good workout!
We were there in May and the gym is very basic but ok to keep trim while away. It has a few treadmills, bike machines, peck deck, smiths machine, bench press machine, loose dumbells up to 45lb and a few core balls. I (les) trained while we were there and found it ok, better doing something instead of nothing I suppose.
I was really please with it actually. exept for back, i manage to do a workout everyday like home. i was suprised; the gym is kinda crowded in the morning. i went every morning but the best time was between 6 and 9. i really liked the atmospere!
Most resorts don't have great fitness areas...............but usually we can find a decent workout. Dave is a heavy liter and there's never enough weight for him......but we'll get some work in...
screw that!!!! Only use the gym for a late night fantasy workout! LOL. vacation means vacation!!!! Enjoy!
I didn`t use the gym once and I had to walk by it every time I went to my room. Swimming around in the pool and walking around Cancun is enough exercise for me while I`m there.
gym I always find it hard to use the treadmills. there are 2 but one has always been broken (5 trips 2 yrs ). Other is always in use. I have complained every visit it is never fixed.
Usually I would say screw it but I am on a strict Diet. I want to get in at least a half hour a day to make up for all the extra eating and drinking.
Same here, it will at least make me FEEL better to work out 30 mins a day after all the booze and extra calories.
