we visited Temptations when it was BBG back in 2005 and while we had a good time, the food was mediocre at best. Has anyone who visited during that time ever returned and had better experiences with the food? We would love to hear from you!
Think they've upgraded the specialty restaurants quite a bit; seafood closed our last visit, but Village Wok and Italian were both really outstanding. Buffet still about the same, no major changes; always especially like the breakfasts.
personally we think if you can't find something you like to eat there then you're way too picky.. *L*
well I am way to picky and the food is just as horrible now as it has been since 2001 when we first started going. My husband on the other hand is not picky at all and even he dislikes the food. In April it was absolutely almost uneatable on days. One thing to look forward to tho is that out of all our trips, about 25 or so) there has been I think it was 2x that the buffet was actually excellent. Other than that, even to say mediocre is pushing it in my opinion.
We've never had issues with finding food that we like. It's going to be interesting this year though as Rob has found out he has an allergy to gluten. We figure though if you can't find anything to eat you can always find something to drink. Diana
I never considered allergies... we're not allergic to foods but does anyone know if they're careful about other food allergies?
We have returned since the change and it is a little better in my opinion. booze intake before eating may be a factor in rating food quality. I would eat at burger king and might find it tolerable if I had enough to drink. Sober eating at burger king is not a pleasant experience for me but it fills the void if that is all there is to choose from. I would have to say there is lots of food to choose from at temptations but after being there a week the food you like is geting a bit old eating the same thing over and over, I think that would be the case at eating at almost any restaurant day in day out for a week straight.
We agree. The selection is good @ the buffet & is where we usually end up eating. The speciality resturants are very good but we don't like to be on a schedule when on vacation. The steakhouse across the the street is excellant for a change of pace. Don't worry, you won't starve. Scott
Spring Rolls at the Asian restaurant were amazing...no reservations needed when we were there 7-30 thru 8-3
we are not picky eaters by any stretch of the imagination, but bad food is bad food. Was hoping for a little better quality than last visit but it may be a trade off if we want the kind of atmosphere that is Temptations! We will weigh the pros and cons and see!
