How I survived TTR for the 11th time.

Well where to start? My body is still feeling the after effects of a late trip cold I picked up on my 2nd last day, my head still recovering from trying to put it through the roof on the Boobs Cruise boat, and my liver only now seems to be coming out of it's protective shell.

As you can tell I had fun as usual.

My trips seem to vary, sometimes by myself, sometimes with one person, and a small group last November. Well this time I brought down Derek, aka hapless puppy, aka cougar kibble, now known as Powder White. Between him and NuttyRat (aka Casper) I think I can say I know two of the whitest men ever to set foot in Cancun. Near the end of the trip we met a girl who might have beaten them both, but she was several days behind.

We arrived in Cancun on Westjet, right on schedule, after about a 20 minute wait for our transfer to show up we were on our way. Powder wondered how many people I knew at the resort, well since we ran into a group out of California that I know during check in and another 20 or so people from the April Addicts within 20 minutes he figured out that we weren't going to be lonely on this trip.

I won't go into too many details. Frankly the days were a blur lol. Two boobs cruises, one with the inexplicably energetic master or disaster Chinos himself, great people from all over and Oliver who decided I needed more rum than coke in every drink during the day and I can safely say that we got our monies worth.

For those that haven't been in several months or perhaps even years there are some things I want to point out...

1.) Music - It's going to be heavily tilted to dance / electronic / pop. Rafa is more ammenable to putting in the occasional rock song, the other guy not so much.

2.) Activity staff - Lots of people, including myself, miss Chinos' antics (Keep getting healthy buddy). BUT the current staff is in my opinion doing a great job. Sarah 69 has some similar mannerisms and is solid during the games, Amy is a sweetheart who I have always found kind, Jose and Manuel do great in more of a supporting role, and Danny-Boy does a great job of keeping people entertained. Particularly later at night, getting on the mic and riling up the crowd (pretty impressive to see entertainment staff up later than 1am!).

3.) General atmosphere - Over the last couple of years I have noticed a bit of a change, less adult frat party, more 24 hour nightclub, with a more sexually charged atmosphere. Some days this is great, some days maybe not as great. Depends on the severity of the hangover I guess lol

4.) On resort night time activities - They are doing a great job beefing these up, the dance show is back, as are at least two nights a week having parties out by the sports pool. While it's not perfect they do seem committed to it.

5.) Security seems to be sitting back, and not interjecting themselves too much. Altercations seem to be down. The closest I saw was one blind drunk guy who was trying to get into a floating hugfest of NuttyRat, Janet, and Monique at the end of the 23rd's Boobs Cruise. Monique brought out the sailor language and he was on his way, in relatively short order. I witnessed this from about 10 feet away, I wouldn't say it was a case of a creeper making a move, but a blind drunk guy who didn't know what he was doing. If anything security should have walked this guy back to his room to sleep it off in my opinion. Otherwise, I think we all did a good job of protecting one another.

Mind you I am still trying to figure out where Powder White was until 10 am one day... Well not where but what he was doing. There is his truth and then there is mine. Mine I find much MUCH more amusing.

6.) Boobs Cruise(s)! - GREAT AS ALWAYS! The new arrangment with Albatross, the hotel and new boat seems to be a hit. So much that the hotel tried to copy it. Based on a count from just before I left a boat run by the hotel had 25 people on it, all but two were men. That's ok, if you like that sort of thing...

Don't worry about going thirsty, having enough to eat, or the music selection. Everything is top notch. Seeing Chinos was a big bonus, and if anything he had more energy than ever. Omar of course also is a big presence on the mic. Want more details? Get on one of the cruises, finding out is half the fun!

There are so many people I met, I won't try to list them here, because I am sure I would forget about half! Whether it be near Halloween, next April, or even this July in Calgary for the CCC get together Canadian style. See you all soon!

Great Trip report. Was great to finally meet you in person. And what a wonderful person you are. We had great times and laughs, and memories I will never forget. Looking forward to seeing you in Calgary for the CCC Reunion Stampede.

Keith, it was a real pleasure to meet you and Derek. You are both such sweethearts that I didn't have the heart to cougar-maul you. Can't wait to see you guys again at the Stampede reunion! :lotsofmichaelfs:

 

Lol Keith yep my mouth runneth over after that guy started trying to finger my ass. He just wouldn't go away even though he was told over and over, guess he thought Janet and I would be easy as we we're extremely loaded. Doubt he was blind, he found Janet tit with his mouth as well. Anyways we had absolute great times with you and Derek. See you both in July, let's do it all again.

 

You handled it exactly right Monique! I just think the dumb bastard was so drunk he was on autopilot. He should have had security take him back to his room, his eyes were just glazed over from what I could see. A bomb could have gone off and he wouldn't have noticed lol

 

Great TR, I know you had a buddy with you but from past posts you going as a single gives me more confirmation that I will have a good time as well.

TR was hilarious, especially including "Powder".....thanks.

Also, never been to Canada.....please keep the board informed when the Party is going to happen and I would definitely try to make the trip.
