how far away a the real nice beaches

i understand that the beach at the resort is not great but how far away are the real nice beaches.

 

I beleive there is a wonderful beach down towards the airport, as we always pass it, but i cannot for the life of me think of the name, basically its like a 20 minute bus/cab ride away in the direction of the airport! It looks stunning, very clean, no seaweed etc.

you can always hope the bus and go farther down into the hotel zone and hit the other public beaches. we walked to 1 last time but i have no idea what the name of it was go out the entrance bang a left and i think it's about a 20 min walk.
