Hey guys we are returning in June with a referral. I am wondering what type of drinks do you drink throughout the day/ night to keep that best buzz? Is there specific liquor from TTR that never gives you a hangover the next day? Please share the potion if so!!!! It is hard to avoid the wet pussies or the craving for a chunky monkey. So when you mix you know how it goes! I know what works for me best in the states but they do not have those types of liquor there. I couldn't possibly bring liquor enough from here to supply me 2 weeks lol.

I also have this weird feeling at times when drinking where heaviness and shoulder/ chest pain takes over for 10-20 mins killing the mood (still found no reason to this strange occurrence but it is not with all drinks). Let me know what your poison of choice is!! (Girl half of changodemadera)

I feel like some people can just drink way more than others and some people just can't driink as much as others. My GF can have like 15 shots while serving as a bartender but if she's on the other side of the bar she can only have like 6 or 7 shots before shes getting crazy drunk(take note of that early June Junkies! LOL ) Either way I feel like water is the key if you are a light weight!

Good tequila and alternating water between drinks and I swear you'll never have a hangover. It takes me a week to recover from anything else. Water is paramount, as is food throughout the day.

Mimosas for breakfast to kill a hangover along with the "green juice". Beer all day at the pool with some chunky monkey or Miami Vice mixed in to cool down. Beer or wine with dinner. Vodka and Redbull rest of night. Thats usually 4am or so. Once I start I have to keep it going or I will catch a hang over.

We drink Vodka/water/mio and haven't had a bad hangover yet. You can switch up the flavors so you don't get sick of drinking the same thing. Stay away from the sugary frozen drinks.. they taste good going down but not worth the sickness later. Also be mindful of getting drinks mixed at the bar. Sometimes they go way overboard and drinks are sometimes pure liquor with little to no mix. I know drinks are included but we make a trip to walmart for Sky vodka to keep in the room and mix our own.

I'm with R&R. Blood Caesar (not Bloody Mary (trust me)) in the morning, beer all day, wine at dinner and vodka red bull at night. AND most importantly no shots!! I do want the shots but I know what will happen. When I do get roped into shots the night is a blur and the morning is bad. Please don't kill me all you shot people!

We drink Sky vodka with Fresca and a splash of OJ normally...only thing I've found is I occasionally get heartburn (thinking from the OJ). This trip (our 5th) we're also bringing extra mugs - 1 for water and another for alcohol to alternate throughout the day.

A few ways we try to avoid hangovers...

    1. Ask for brand name liquor when ordering mixed drinks or shots of tequila.
    2. Drink water throughout the day/night.
    3. Have a tolerance BEFORE going to TTR. If you rarely drink at home and you come here wanting to drink every day, it's going to be even harder on the body. Not promoting being an alcoholic, but drink all day on a Saturday and/or a few days during the week a few weeks before arriving.
