we have a trip planned in January. If we take a referral from someone...what happens? What do we get? What does it do? How does it work? Thanks in advance for your help?
Members can send a certain number of Referrals to the resort(s) every year. Referrals receive 25% off the website rates (currently there's a 3rd night free promo too) and all the member perks while on the resort (black bands). Pictures of the perks/drinks below. You can get a referral by asking a member. You cannot do that on here on CCC, but there is a Facebook group Temptation referral Exchange where you can find them. In exchange for the member's perks, the referral must attend a Premier sales presentation where they pitch you on becoming a member. It takes 45min-1.5 hours, and there's lots of threads on here about the experience. After you attend, the member gets $250 credit. If you buy a contract and become a member yourself, the member gets an additional $250. If you don't attend, the member gets nothing and loses out on a referral for that year (ie. you screw them over).
Its not a scam and they are easy to get. You just need to be willing to give up a couple of hours of your stay listening to the sales pitch. Every one who has bought has at least two a year.
