Hey, I know this isn't the support forum for Temptations, but I am looking for advice. First, I am thinking about book over Christmas for 5 nights. Either 23-28 or 24-29 of December. Not sure which of those days will be the best. I have been trying to book, but the Temptations booking website throws an error. The error is actually related to a bug trying to connect to their database (Im a software dev) someone needs to fix it.. So I tried to contact them over the phone, when I ask if I can book they say yes and hangup! Ive called twice. I've also asked for a referral from the cancuncare, I haven't yet received a response. what days would you pick(28 and 29 are double price thats okay with me) and should i hold out for booking as a referral? PS im going with my Fiance, we are 33 and 28
We have booked through Orbitz and American Airlines Vacations. Booking through the hotel website is way more $$$$$$. If you want to do a referral and sit through the pitch just so you can have a black arm band....have at it, but it isn't the cheapest way (IME you'll still pay more on aa referra than third party websites even with the 25% off the hotel rate). Now that I said that 50 people are going to chime in saying it's cheaper to do a referral on such and such date.
I always search several sites when we go but I always wind up getting the best deals through vacations to go. I have booked all 3 trips to TTR through them. For our September dates they were almost $400 cheaper than everyone else I looked at.
we are premier but this time we book through Travelocity they had a package that was cheaper than just staying at the hotel we were told even though we book through them we still get our premier stuff when we booked Travelocity orbits and that other one all had basically the same price for the package the hotel says they can't price match package prices only hotel prices from other sites so I would check packages before and multiple sites before you book .. its worth the time
TTRs website is quoting a price much lower than any major travel site. I see that Thursday and Friday are more expensive due to New Years. Will it be worth it to stay 24-29?
For us and our location the best deals we have found out there are the packages that include airfare through the discount sites, this has happened many times for us including cruises. Our late October early November trip this year best I found was through Expedia very early Tuesday morning using a link from Ebates. I searched many of the discount sites including the Temptation big sales and although they were closer at that time Expedia blew all of them away by several hundred dollars not including the money we get money back from Ebates after the trip, we also got better flights to our liking using Expedia. We are not interested in using Referrals, it's not fair to mislead the premier folks thinking we would become premier. We will never do the tour on our own or become premier, the savings and perks just doesn't add up expecially for us at our age. T

How is the referral pitch and can I delay it until late as possible for my stay? Vegas is a poplar spot for us, we can get flights for ~100 and get comps for 50 dollar a night rooms. Whatever they pitch me would have to compete with what
Meeting is 90 minutes. Could drag out longer if you don’t control the meeting. You set the appt whenever you want. We went 2nd day early to get it out of the way.
