Hello! My brother is getting married at the Secrets Maroma Beach in November. My husband and I want to stay longer than just a weekend and we are looking at the Catalonia Riviera Maya since the prices are about the same for a 3 night stay at Secrets as compared to a 7 nights stay at Catolonia. I know there is a large difference in hotels and we are okay with that. I just need to know how long of a travel distance it is for us to attend the wedding? If it is too far, we may switch to the Catalonia Play Maroma which I can tell is close, but doesn't look as lovely as the Riviera. I have tried Mapquest and no luck. This is our first trip to Cancun, and out of the country for that matter and could use all the advice I can get. Thanks!

Well, goodness! That answers my question. A closer hotel it is. I guess I don't particularly want to have to travel late at night that far in a country I have never been to! thanks for answering :xyxthumbs:
Just remember, you will need to buy a day pass to get on pretty much all the properties around here. That can cost you anywhere from $55-$175 a day per person, depending on the hotel. So make sure you add that into your calculations
