Stacey, what night(s) did you go to Basic? Thats my favorite club, I'd be torn if I went and it wasnt busy....
If people are in Cancun, then Basic should generally get packed if you go on the right nights... at least I hope.

    Hows senor frogs?

We just returned from a week out. Went to CocoBongo on our first night...a Saturday and it was not nearly as busy as we have seen it be. We paid $60 US entrance and arrived by 11:00. They closed that night at 3:00 due to election...I think??? Anyway, we went back to Coco Bongo on Thursday night, paid $50 US and it was PACKED!!! Went to Dady O's one night and it was packed as well. Senior Frogs was never busy when we were there....not like normal. That made me sad cuz always have fun there...we still did have a lot of fun but not the jam-packed kind of fun. One night we ended with Senior Frogs at 2:00 and headed to the Congo. That was a BLAST. They were packed that night. Had never gone there but happy we did....our whole group enjoyed the time.

Have to agree about how busy Cancun itself was....the transportation via bus or taxi took longer than I ever remember it taking before. Just from our resort to club area was a long bus ride. We always take the bus and love it but were amazed how backed up the traffic was at midnight on a weeknight. We are normally there in November so not sure if that is the difference or what. We were very happy that the people were out and about and that there were people like us who didn't allow the bad press to keep them away from our beloved Cancun. Can't wait to go back!!! Our countdown is on!!!
