Hi all,this year we have put our cancun trip off til aug 8th,on our last trip the beaches were pretty beat up,so i need to ask what shape they are in now.i think we will be staying at the Golden Parnassuss this trip.
Hi. Don't know when you last visited....beaches are pretty much the same when we were there in March. Much less than years before even after restoration attempts. Slivers of beaches can always be found; some days more than others. I can only speak of the Cancun Palace, Beach Palace and some of the Royal Resorts however. People will come around to the area you are looking at. Typically, more beach in the summer months.
We were at the Golden in december. The beaches are not near what they used to be....even earlier in the year last year. You can't play volleyball on the beach anymore, and there are now big rocks on the beach in front of the Golden. Still, plenty of room to swim, unlike many places. The sand is not near as "shelly" as it was after the attempt to fix them. It has softened a lot over time.
