    Wine

Wine's definitely served in the restaurants, not sure about the bars. Don't worry about different drinks , TTR is a totally different experience from that experienced anywhere else around the world. We're sure you'll get hooked on something, it will be the last thing on your minds.

p.s. There's also some mini markets and Walmart locally, if your really desperate for different drinks

    Well...

Wine is served at Paty'os, not sure about the pool bars, but I would think they do to. However, since you say you only drink wine, I'm going to guess you are used to a certain quality of wine (as am I), you might want to grab a few bottles at a store (or duty free) because unless you pay extra for it, the wine they serve is not anything I would normally drink. It will get you drunk, but it's definitely FAR from good wine. (I'm referring to the red wine, I'm not really a white drinker so I can't give a fair comparison.) I do order a glass or two at dinner, but at the bars I switch to Skyy & tonics. I believe the house red varietal is Tempranillo. The white is Chardonnay, and wasn't awful (IMO). Also keep in mind, while the restaurants serve in glass, the bars will serve the wine in plastic glasses (for safety reasons), and while that doesn't matter to me, I know some people that would be completely put off by wine in plastic. So be prepared. Have fun! :aktion030:

Yes, they serve wine at all the bars. I am a white wine drinker, but the house white is so bad I won't touch it. I will have the red with dinner, and vodka/tonic at the pool. They also have champagne, so I usually start the day with mimosa's

They don't have house wine. They have outhouse wine! Really bad.

You can walk almost directly across the street to the pharmacy and they have a selection of about 20 wines at pretty decent prices.

Lots of opinions on this one, and I will offer mine.

The house red and white are not very good, but tolerable in the wine glasses in the restaurants. The wine served at the bars in one of the plastic cups is much worse. Sometimes the wine at the bars may have been open too long, so beware.

We pack a couple of wine glasses for drinking wine at Paddy-Os.

We have also brought along a 3 L box of vino (not a case of bottles Sheldon:)) in our suitcase to have in our room. As crappy as most boxed wine is, it tastes pretty good compared the house wine.

The wine there tastes like old feet. Hopefully you find something else you like, are willing to pay for the better stuff at the resturants, or just walk across the street and buy your own.

The only good wine there is in the Italian restaurant but it will cost you!
We've bought wine from the OXXO across the street but it's a gamble. We have brought our own a couple of times.
3M makes a product called "wine skins" to carry bottles so if they break they don't ruin your suitcase.

Our advice is to experiment and find a drink you like, if you don't like it send it back and get something else. The beauty of all inclusive!

    ?
I have never brought a bottle of vino to Mecca, nevermind a case.

I actually tolerate the wine at TTR. Restaurant house red seems better than bar, but overall it all tastes like communion plonk.
But if in the mood I will drink it.
