a friend of mine stayed here while we stayed at the Oasis cancun. He didnt spend much time here, as he was at our hotel all/most of the time but from what I heard from him, it wasn't anything special. The beach was ok as was the service but the AI was a pain. There was certain times to eat at certain restaurants and you had to book any 'special' dinners 2 days in advance. For the price it was ok - my friend got his own room for a bit cheaper than we got for double rooms at the oasis.

I just booked our resort for the end of December on Hotwire - and Hotetur is the one we got. Anyone been here lately?

We stayed there last year, in june, and the beach was amazing. The buffet food was also very good! I actually enjoyed it. Someone was behind the grill making special orders, omelets for breakfast, added in whatever you wanted! We enjoyed it a lot, and we are returning again this year (june 10-june 17 2010) because of the atmosphere, good food, and excellent service. The staff were really nice!
Thanks for the update on this place. We have been thinking of staying here in September, but most of the reviews on Expedia are bad ones. We were just going to post and ask if anyone had any recent information.
