So Steve suggested this as a website for good TTR rates...just checked for mid/late October and they came up with a rate of around $213/night for a garden room. The website linked to Skoosh.com. Anyone have experience with this reseller?
Yes, we used them last year. Was VERY concerned after we read some poor reviews. I guess we should have read the reviews before we booked with them but to our dismay, they were FANTASTIC!!! We arrived at TTR and they had our booking. Think of hotelscombined as a company like Kayak. They find ALL of the rates posted by the resellers. Kayak ONLY deals with the big companies because they Pay Kayak, The company you should be concerned with would be Skoosh. Look into them because they are who you actually have the booking through. As for Skoosh, I can't speak of them personally but have heard good things about them. Good luck xoxo Angie
We used skoosh once several years ago successfully. We called a week in advance to verify the hotel had our reservation and they did and remembered to bring our voucher. Only read of issues for people who couldn't locate their voucher. Eventually it was worked out but you don't want that pain upon arrival.
We booked our trip this October through Skoosh so hoping everything works out. We actually booked Oct. 7-14 but had a conflict come up and had to change it to Oct 14-21. I called Skoosh and a person answered on I think the 2nd ring, and they were very helpful over the phone. We changed the reservation through email and immediately got a confirmation of the new dates. So far so good, as long as they have our reservation in place when we get there I will definitely use them again.
Our biggest fear would be getting there and finding out they're oversold and getting bounced to another resort.
