What hotels is everyone saying at spring break?

yeah thats me! lol not done any passing out in random places for a while! Im thinking about heading to cancun for spring break if i can get the cash together for it, if not will be 100% going next year! Whats Gran costa Real like? it any good?

You meant Gran Cribe Real? That's across the street from Bubba Gump. Never stayed there though. I've stayed at Omni, ME, and Hyatt. All are really good choices.

is the omni a good hotel? Expensive?

 

Omni is a 4*, not a 5* like Gran Caribe Real but I really like it. It's clean and nice. Henry Wu's Photos | Facebook was my room in 2007. And it's right next to Oasis.

Price wise, it depends on whether you can find a deal or not. I've seen it ranging from US$120-US$230+tax per night (not all inclusive). Actually there is a sale on www.orbitz.com right now. You can book 4 nights and get the 4th night for free. The nightly rate is US$159+tax. But if you book in multiple of 4 days and and get the 4th day off, it averages to US$120+tax/night. That's dirt cheap for Cancun.
