You might want to check out Margaritas, Batab, and Xbalanque. All these resorts are relatively close to Cancun's ADO bus station. These are decent hotels. There are a couple more hotels in the area, but I can't remember their names, and they are more like motels and hotels.

    Taxx32 and Manny,

About as close as you can get to the bus station, for a nice hotel, is Kin Mayab. It was built as a Novatel but dropped the franchise a few years ago. The bus station is at the corner of Uxmal and Tulum. The KM is in the first block of Tulum, going south from the bus station. If you are direction challenged, as you walk out of the bus station take a left and go to the street. This is Uxmal. Cross the street and turn left. At the corner, make a right and the hotel is about 100 feet or less down Tulum. They have a nice little restaurant where the breakfasts are really good. They have free internet access in the lobby. It is clean too. The daily rate is about $450 but it can go up or down based on supply and demand. Shop and bargain, depending on your length of stay.

Another popular option would be Hotel Alux. This is on Uxmal in the second block from the bus station. From the above directions when you get to Uxmal, hang a right without crossing the street, walk one block and it is on the corner. This will be cheaper than Kin Mayab but with fewer amenities

Manny and Taxx - I would not call any of those hotels mentioned by Manny "resorts". Xbalanque is quite popular and has a good reputation. I really like Margaritas but I think it is closed for renovation now.

In my opinion only the Radisson could be called a "resort" in downtown Cancun.

    Just my opinions anyway.
