I have a friend who is looking into the hotel Dorado Royale. Does anyone know anything about this place? I have never heard of it. I know it's couples only.
You are no doubt referring to El Dorado Royale, about midway (30 minutes) between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. It is a wonderful place with lots of food and beverage options. Beautiful, luxurious, romantic. Been there, done that. My good friend (and a travel agent) here in Cancun books it often. He can often get better prices than one can get on their own and is worth his weight in gold if you need to change plans at the last minute or have issues of any kind during your vacation.
