My wife and I have been to Temptations around 7 times over that last 10 years....I have always used a travel agent and never really knew how the transfer/flight/hotel prices really broke down.....we are planning a trip at the end of July....thought I would ask if anyone has any suggestions on best time to book, promo codes, etc....Thanks!!
Before we bought into the membership (premier) we used orbitz for the package deal, air and TTR and was very very happy. (6 years)
We always get the best prices from Orbitz, and I check around. I heard it was a regional thing. Checked prices today for Halloween, and it’s the best price it’s been in three years. Under $2200 for jacuzzi room for five nights.
Cheaptickets.com for us. Orbitz discount site. Current code for 16% off is MISTLETOE but that ends today. A new one will end posted tomorrow.
There have been some good prices recently on the hotel's own site. They've been running various specials such as every third night free, which I understand ends January 8th. Might or might not be better than what you can find elsewhere but certainly worth checking out. The link is: HOME | Temptation Cancun Resort If that doesn't work for you then check out the hotels combined link in my signature and also below - this site compares many different providers and finds the best price: Compare & Save on Cheap Hotel Deals - HotelsCombined
Book online. Clear your browser cache and cookies before a new search. Websites will track your searches through cookies, and adjust prices accordingly, so delete them between searches. Very simple, and saves time and $$$$. We had friends that always used to use a travel agent....until we booked one of their trips to TTR for them online and saved them $1200!!! They had never even checked for themselves and were stunned. With all of the online access we now have, really dont know why anyone would use a travel agent.
We’ve used Expedia for our 3 trips 01/16, 06/16 & 08/17. I checked about 2 weeks ago for a 10 night trip in summer 2018 ...... was same price we paid for our TTR reopening trip = $3,000 and change including airfare. Good price at about $150 per night each. I’ve checked the TTR website and they want about $300 per person and that didn’t include airfare.
We have been to TTR three times, our last trip at the end of September. We have always used Applevacations. We have checked other sites and TTR rates plus travel and Apple is always better. We fly out of St. Louis on the charter and three hrs later we are in Cancun. Check it out maybe there is a charter from your area.
