    Quick question to anyone at or has recently left TTR...what is the dollar to peso exchange rate at the front desk? We're coming in tomorrow and wondering if we should be on the lookout for something better on the way in. Thanks!!! :mexicoflag:

    Better exchange rate right across the road next to the chemist there is a exchange place there
    Don't change your money in the hotel

    Didnt think the rate was all that bad at TTR - Just sure as hell do not use the ATM. Horror stories

    I spoke to our bank today and they don't charge a fee to convert to pesos. They just need a few days notice. And will convert from pesos when we return. Might be a good idea to convert before you leave.
