Renovations Report- Hot Tub 360 CLOSED! April 16th to...... We were there the 13th - 21st: Saturday the 14th -we noticed gardening, lots of gardening going on by the Spa behind the Pool restaurant: Aggravation Level: 1 out of 10 Sunday the 14th we noticed some painting in vacant rooms going on - no furniture or remodeling, just paint. Monday the 15th is when all hell broke loose, we closed the hot tub down and refused to leave until at least 4:15am, the jets were off, the heater was off - we did not care. Workers were upstairs with pumps and hoses to suck it dry at 3am. It was pheumatic hammers, drills, and jackhammer type noises as they dismantled the hot tub all day. They hauled bags of broken tile & tub down the stairs and carted them out. This continued for about 4-days. Pissing in the Spa was interesting as it sounded like the ceiling was coming down under the drilling. We asked for the music to be turned up and speaker to be pointed at us in the beds as it was NOISY. They also have a drilling machine parked on the beach - it was rather unsightly. It was parked there our entire trip and never moved. The pool is super heated, too hot in the day and about right at night. It was getting really hot there - highs in the mid to upper 80s so you wanted the pool to be more refreshing. They did this as the pool bar was open every night till 2:30am.
Ugh We've been in denial ever since we heard it's a possibility! Safe to assume by your "..." that they didn't give you an end date? Maybe they can crank the heat up in the regular pool!
I've been out of touch with this site. Just catching up on all of the contruction news. Wifey and I will be there in 3 days! Sounds like this trip will require even heavier doses of alcohol than first anticipated.....bring it!
