I'll be moving the site to a new host shortly, there may be a bit of downtime (will be minimal if any). Also some posts may get lost (the difference between the database as it will be at the time it is copied, and new posts made after the copy has been taken).

Hopefully, this should result in much improved speed. We'll also be adding a https certificate at some point over the next week or so.

The migration hasn't started yet :)

I think the AWS your seeing is a remnant from Ezoic

The move to a new host has been completed, I'm noticing a significant speed increase on the forum and especially on the rest of the site.

We lost a few posts but only an hour or two's worth I think

You'll notice that the site is now prefixed with https rather than http as before. This doesnt mean a great deal for this kind of site, but it is best practice and will put a stop to annoying warnings from web browsers stating the site is unescure.

Next step will be to upgrade the forum to the next generation of the forum software, this will allow for push notifications and introduce several other improvements.
