    Pros...

Lots of new people, from all ways of life. Many we met, had never been to TTR... This resulted in, many people willing to talk to other people, they had never met before!

This was my major point, for the cruise... I actually got slightly offended, once, when I went for a ‘cancer stick’ and the people didn’t interact!

.... I’m struggling to find other positives....

But this positive, is a big one for us, as we like to interact and meet new people! Maybe six plus people, we met, and likely to interact with and meet again in the future!

    Food...

I got really excited, about cruise food, that everyone talks about... I have food allergies, informed the cruise in advance... very disappointed...

I informed the manager, got led to the signs noting gluten free.... like I can’t read??? Asked, what about accidentally cross contamination, he shrugged... I nearly was in tears, and ate two slices of buffet meat... alone, served by them.... anyone that has serious food allergies, will understand this....

    Drink and Service....

Slow, very slow... Also, lots of misinformation... no shots on boat, seen, thought was extra, but wasn’t.... even grey goose was part of package.

Only ever one drink per card.... no doubles, or full of bubba cup, regardless of the queue.

Biggest Con for us... multiple areas, massive boat! You could met someone one day, have a lovely time socialising, and not see them for two days! Even if you were in the same place!

I officially hate, cruise compass iternary... don’t like where to be, when, on holiday....

The controversial music... day good, early night good, then switched to young group, until they died... then back to good core TTR music...

But at least they listened to the group...

By the by, I have never experienced, girls bathrooms like it... I was seriously embarrassed, informed staff, they needed cleaning....

I’m hoping, young, drunk girls, were responsible.... but even so... imagine the absolute Worst... there it was!

The staff were fantastic... servicing rooms, maybe four times a day! We regularly seen them at 3am!

Dragged out theme night outfit, pre dinner, left on floor, was neatly folded on bed, after dinner...

All in all... I don’t think I will try it again, but hubby would! Lol...

Although we liked the cruise, we are one and done. We never had issues with getting drinks, we had plenty of shots; tequila, lemon drops, fireball, and almost all of the time double shots or several at one time. We did find out bartenders do not share tips, so we tipped one or two in the AM about $10 each and got served immediately and like I said no issues with shots or serving size. They’d give us multiple drinks and ring up one. My main issue was I was on high alert the whole trip and couldn’t relax. Had a man put his hand up my dress without permission, experienced the infamous divide and conquer within 20 min of being on the boat and that most people were just on the prowl. It became very exhausting. Although we loved the party, food, playmakers and music we wouldn’t do it agin. Well just stick to the resort, went 3x last year have 4 trips planned this year (already went in Jan) itching for our next

Maybe OP created this post quickly, I had a hard time deciphering the points made.

What is controversial music? What is meant by switching to young group and then what is core TTR music considered?

My wife and I liked the music on the cruise. We thought it was a good mix with out hearing the same stuff day after day.

The format and punctuation of the OP is hurting my head lol

From what I gathered it was disappointing? In the past I’ve liked cruises, but I’d rather be at TTR than a TTR Cruise.

Thanks for the update, Celtic cousins!
This is pretty much what we heard from other cruisers too- It was great, but probably not going to replace TTR trips.
We'll see you on dry land in Mexico soon!

We're doing the Desire cruise which goes out from Athens to the Greek Islands, and two stops in Turkey. We'd not have done the cruise at all except that: A) it checks off 3 major boxes on our lists for us (Greece, Turkey & Amsterdam on the way to Athens); B) It does have the opportunity (though probably limited in some not yet obvious ways) naked-time; and C) it lets us get across the pond to visit with our friends from the U.K. we met our very first time to TTR.
