We have heard that Halloween is crazy awesome at TTR. That Halloween is even a step up from the normal craziness Before we book a week that late in October would love to hear any and all feedback. Much appreciated!!! xoxo
Just started the official Halloween thread. Our 10th Halloween. Been in April and May, many of the same folks come those months and back on Halloween. What's best about it is the April/May crowd spreads out over the 2 months but generally they mostly come back the same week in October. Weather is pretty good. Upper 80's to low 90's. Biggest downside is it starts getting dark around 5:30. Theme participation is probably one of the highest throughout the year. Many folks go all out on their Halloween costumes.... They generally range from Super Sexy to Unbelievably Sexy. Some wear just candy. It's basically at the end of Hurricane season, in our 9 previous trips we had only been through 1 minor storm. They boarded up the windows, took the furniture in from the outside and kept the party going inside. By the next morning it seemed like nothing happened. I strongly recommend you book. We have heard the same from many friends that have been there for Halloween week. We are definitely in this year!
Great time last year. Going back again this year. Except for Halloween day itself with costumes it did not seem much different from any other time. Well the people were great but we already knew several. Was the same for Valentine’s Day; pretty much the same except for a little more romantic set up at dinner. Same comment on the people. Hint: TTR is all about the people (including the staff) and not the resort per say...the people make the great time. If you want a better physical resort there are many many more to choose from. But then most likely typical boredom.
