The new kid... I was there about 7 years ago with the wife and had a blast. Now recently separated. Want to return but don't know about visiting as a single. Help a brother out.

as long as you are outgoing and mingling with the board for the time frame you aare going is a good start. You will meet lots of great people. When are you going?

If you went 7 years ago with your wife, then you went in the hay days if wildness and probably felt that if your wife wasn’t there oooo the fun that could be had.

OK.. it's a little slower now, more behind the scenes as opposed to everywhere as before. The other thing to remember that when you were with your wife you were considered safer that someone being alone and there for allowed to get a little closer.

We've all had the discussions on how it would be to go without the significant other. A few even have been able to go and had great times. But keep one thing in mind. When you are there as a couple you don’t push as hard, you have to hold back, and the lack of pressure makes everyone feel more relaxed and everyone has a great time.

The biggest knock against singles is the desperate pushy feeling they seem to have. Totally understandable as time is limited and if you want to hook up there is not a night to waste.. but that also creates its own resistance. The harder you push the harder the resistance. Remember how it felt growing up that if you were single and were not looking for a girlfriend that's when you met the best girl of your life? I remember meeting a lady two weeks before I moved from Maryland to Colorado for the first time. Almost didn't move she was so nice.

Anyway, the bottom line is that there are still good times to be had but remember to be yourself and not a desperate horney guy the NEEDS to get laid NOW! The less you push the less resistance you will encounter.
