Hey everyone, really need your advice about Desire Pearl resort. Me and my wife want to visit in January for maybe couple of days, just to see what it is to get experience. Any recommendations? We might be little shy, cause we don’t know what to expect. Thanks everyone for advises.
There are things that are better at each resort. Pearl is smaller. I think it is 84 rooms at Pearl vs 180 at DRM. Pearl has larger rooms all ocean view, hot tub larger. Pool is bigger. DRM, beach is nicer, more places to eat, disco larger. There are threads comparing the two. Do a search. We prefer Pearl. Can’t go wrong with either one.
I don't recommend January, its Internation swingers month, unless that's what you are into. There are no resort rules during that month, so things are a bit primitive by the pool.
Go. Hang out. Get naked - IF you want to. Drink. Talk. Meet. Start there... see what comes up that sounds like a good time, do that. Rinse. Lather. Repeat.
Two nights isn't enough time. You will get there in the afternoon the first day, have one full day and leave in the morning the next day . Your first time at the resort you wont even have a feel for the place yet. At least I wouldn't.
