I depart on the 31st May to Cancun, cant wait! Wahoo anyway, i'm far from fat but i'm a bit tubby, love handles and beer belly, the lot. Anyone got any advice for how i can trim up for the next 3 months? HELP!
A nice body is made in the kitchen, not the gym! Start eating healthier, like chicken, rice, tuna, salads! Also, hit the gym but make sure you are running a lot, cardio is key!!
I agree with EngineeGuy...85% diet...try Weight Watchers Online...I lost 10lbs in 3 weeks and it was VERY easy. I am still losing so I need to slow down before my trip in March...I usually lose weight while in Cancun because I am too busy having fun so I forget to eat! (liquid diet...lol). I did cut down on my workouts in the beginning so I wouldn't be too hungry. That way I could focus on my diet...now I am back to my regular workouts and my calorie intake is much less...but not too painful. Men tend to lose more and much quicker too...so good luck!
Thanks guys, havent eaten as much as I usually do today, two slices of toast (marmite), two ham sandwiches, a steak for dinner (low fat steak) and I went down the gym. Compared to normal that's good. but tomorrow is serious stuff.
I hate to say it but alcohol puts weight on. I play alot of golf and love beer but I have been mixing vodka with diet cranberry juice and taking it to the golf course. I am not a large girl and on a golf day I can easily hang with the guys and put away at least 15 beers in 45 holes. Everyone else is right eat right and exercise, I think it is simple calories in and calories out. If you eat a little more one day exercise a little harder the next. awesome i gotta come play golf with you guys :lol: at ours, its generally frowned upon to drink on the course, except on captains day when its a bit of a free for all! All i can say mate, is eat right and exercise; it really is that simple ... but keep off the steak lol
Seriously! Find your nearest ZUMBA class. I had only done it for 2 weeks(about 7-9 hour long classes per week) and I lost about 12-15 inches all over! I've been doing it for about a month now and everything is getting so tight and firm.... all of my tight jeans are now huge and i need a belt to keep them from falling to my ankles! It is sooo easy, it doesnt even feel like a work out. It's just dancing! I eat whatever I want, and people are asking me how i'm losing so much weight. I actually just had the chocolate molten cake from chilis like 4 days ago..... and i didnt gain anything...... i think i actually lost a pound or two since then! 400-1400 calories a class you burn...... just depends on how hard you work yourself! look up videos on Youtube.com if you are curious! Best of luck! Was 218 now I'm 203. Was a size 22 now I'm a 14-16
me too!! I'm right there with ya! I'm leaving on May 25th and would like to loose at least 10 pounds which I think is do-able! I'm not really overweight but I wanna get toned and work off those love handles I earned in college... I just gotta curb the candy addiction now I believe.
I just read Franco's reply, in Texas I think it is against golf rules not to drink beer. I thought it was that way everywhere. We had custom cooler holders put on each side of our cart just for that reason. I am still sticking to the vodka and diet cranberry for now til vacation. Hope the weight loss is going great Kristi
