How has everyone been doing? good I hope!! I ended up having my surgery a little over a month ago. Spent almost a week in the hospital They found so many masses they had to removed a good part of my lower stomach, overies and tubes and muscle wall. The only good thing with this? I got a very extreme tummy tuck . not sure how its going to look yet as I am still in the binder for a very long time and still very swollen. My husband did point out to me that I no longer have stretch marks on my lower tummy which I had not noticed! They had to pull my skin from my upper belly ( above belly button ) down to close so unfortunally she said I may get some there to make up for the ones gone ( DARN! but we are using cream to stop that!) we shall see how that goes. I have lost 15 pounds since surgery ( a lot in my face and of cource tummy) Which I needed to lose the weight but sure didnt want to do it this way!! a couple of weeks ago my husband bought me a dress and had to take it back and get me a medium!( that rocked LOL!) It has been a very long road and I am ready to be fully recovered , But I am still in early recovery. We found out the masses in my lungs was Endometriosis. This is very rare but you can read up on it here. http://www.drcook.com/adca8.html the GOOD news is we did another CT scan recently and the masses in my lungs are HALF the size they was so surgery and meds are working! I can not take any kind of hormones at all and even with no overies I have to be on anti hormones . Boy these hot flashes are fun!! Talking about burning alive! It feels like my blood is boiling at times!! We had no idea I had so many masses until after I woke up from surgery and went OUCH WTH happened to me?! I had two surgeons and they do believe they got it all from my stomach area!! YAY! ( thats why they took a big part of my stomach and muscle wall out to make sure they got it all) I am healing very good and cant wait until I can hold the children again. Besides that we are all doing very good!! Dallas and Andrianna are growing like WEEDS!!! and getting soo big. Andrianna is in the 5th grade now if you can believe that!!!! and dallas would be in 2nd if in public schools( he is home schooled) Well I am getting tired and should be getting back to bed. thanks! I think I am doing pretty darn good concidering. with a smaller belly to boot :lol: Sorry but its the only postive thing I can come up with. oh well except I am not allowed to clean or cook for awhile! except that is driving me nuts! :roll:
