How is everyone doing? Nothing much changed here. We are still thriving as a family of 8 and learning!! It sure is different being parents to 6 children instead of two! Dh and I have decided we are forsure doing a vacation just us two this coming summer I can't wait! I was in a car accident in Aug and broke my back but I am doing much better now and my back is almost all healed up!! ( just can't lift things now)

Dallas is doing really well these days and no longer uses leg braces( not sure if I had posted about that before!) But he no longer uses the braces and he walks everywhere with no help! We don't use his medical stroller much any more either. he does still get tired easy but doing wonderful great!

I miss you all so much! Really is no excuse to not come visit here as little as I do except I am just so busy these days! 6 kids take a lot of work!

the H1n1 flu attacked our home but thankfully everyone is all better gave us a good scare expecially with little Dallas ( or not so little !! he is 56 pounds now!) 4 more to go until he hits the 60 mark we have been counting down to 60 pounds for years!! Can you believe he is 10 now? wow hu?

Andrianna is getting so big hard to believe she is almost 13! Dh and I coached her softball team this summer and we went undefeated winning every game! Her Jr high places 1st in the state!

Dylan our son is in high school and let me tell you it sure is odd raising a high schooler , He has a new girl friend every week it seems!

Then we have our twins who is as sweet as cotton Candy. Our 10 year old daughter is as smart as a whip and makes straight A's. The school work these days is so much harder then it was when I was in school!

Here is a video I made of the kids I thought you may enjoy.
    Hugs and much love

I consider myself to be pretty tough, but that video brought a legitimate tear to my eye. What a perfect song (My Wish), and great pics of you and your family.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well, and by the looks of things no one could be happier, its amazing to see.

Take care and check in soon again

.....Oh PS..have you thrown that Elmo Live out the window yet?!?! LOL when I managed the KB Toys over here that thing had just come out and EVERYONE would come in and push our demo unit and it just got soooo annoying haha pretty sure I can recite almost all the stories and jokes he tells

I watch the video every night before I go to bed. It reminds me that even if times are tough it is soooooooo worth it!

LOL Dallas has I think around 50 or so Elmo's now( and not one the same!)!!! He is getting Elmo giggle hands for Christmas. He does not play with them as much as he used to so only one elmo this year! We are going to take and donate most of them soon I think and just keep a few around so when he wants one to play with he has it. I love my Ipod..... I put it on and I don't hear Elmo no more! HA HA!

Ps Fletch if you liked that one. Your love this one.

This is a video of our son Dylan receiving a gift for Christmas last year, He has never had much of anything nice and the nice things he had his biomother would take away and either pawn or give away. These children would share 2 cans of green beans for dinner between the 4 of them and that is at times all they would have to eat. We knew last Christmas would be hard emoctionally.
They lost their biological mother when she gave them up for adoption and I lost my Biological sister when I broke the cycle of abuse. I wanted that one day to be a stress free day that they would remember. Anyways long story short. I know they will remember Christmas we hired a professional Santa to come in and surprise the children Christmas eve as a Santa movie was going off( he walked in the door as the show was bring turned off) and then we had more surprises christmas morning here is one of them. PS after Christams morning was all over the 4 children came to me and Skip and asked us if they was allowed to keep their gifts. I gave them the biggest hug and told them yes and had to excuse myself to go cry in my room.

Anytime Dylan is being a smart azz teen I watch this video and remember he is just a kid trying to find his way. I <3 my babies

BTW we made 5 of the 6 children Cry last Christmas ( all but Dallas) Thankfully this year will be a lot less stressful and the children now feel worthy.

I'm so sorry to hear of your car accident! How awful for you to have to go through that.

Good news about Dallas walking! :D

Your video is beautiful! You're very blessed to have been able to adopt such wonderful children, and they are very blessed to have angels in their lives like you and your husband.
