I don't know what has gotten into me lately but since I got back from my last trip my self monitoring seems to have been turned off and I saying and posting things that I would normally self censor. I was less than thrilled about some postings before I left and had several people come up to me and started less than thrilling conversations about the posters. None of which left a good taste in my mouth so I came back here and vomited all over the board. Someone wrote to me, slapped me, and said quit... Then I started noticing other posts on the board from other normally sane people were tracking negatively too and figured I'd infected them. For that I am sorry. I'm really sorry for the tone of my recent posts. This is a happy place and should remain that way. So since I've seemed to make everyone feel not so good, please let this note be sort of a vaccination that we all get healthy with. Like the night at the resort when some woman walked up to our table and read us the riot act for making disparaging remarks about the military - something that shock the hell out of us because at the time we were talking about some guy falling up stairs and messing up his face and ruining his changes with Asia in the sales office.... we decided to get back on track by talking about nothing other than Tits and Beer! So if I or anyone else falls off the wagon.. please feel free to jump in and yell TITS and BEER! to get us back on track...... Jamie
Jamie, I think I vomited this afternoon... I've been away for a year or so and came back around the time my brother and his wife were planning their April trip. We started watching threads etc and booked at the end of April for the end of June when we can escape reality for a short trip. When we started looking at April and June threads we were amused then it started getting silly then worthless. Sorry for vomiting all over your thread but I'd rather come here and see constructive supportive posts that help other people decide to go to the place we choose to escape reality. BTW, how was your trip seen you were back any TR yet - or did I miss that too? Jim
Jamie I am not sure what I missed but hey I know I have vomitted and been puked on all in the same day. I just wanna say that you cannot prejudge anyone here by what they say in the moment. We all have bad days and sarcism doesn't transfer well to the forum. Either way if I offended anyone I am sorry. My fingers type faster than I think and sometimes they type bad things too. Titties and Beer make you smile. Big smile, little smiles,...........k you all know the rest. Anyways it is getting time to take a break from all this drama as I search for the next vacation. Thinking about going somewhere else but I really need a happy place. Tahiti looks beautiful but too secluded for me. Glenn and I will most likely end up at TTR in Sept so if you happen to go at that time of year we will see you there.
Its all good buddy, I think those of us that have talked to you for years on here know the real you.... well at least in writing haha, though after awhile it does feel as if you actually know the people on here.... Cheers to Beer and Titties.... I switched them around cuz its hot as hell in new york and been a long day, so id like to relax with the beer for a moment before venturing into the virtual mental titty show lol.
OMG,if we're starting to self judge then I (Les) need a big slap in the face. I'm guilty of vomiting over posts and letting some peoples (well one cpl in particular) views get to me and responding negativley myself. It's very hard not to bite especially when you see them attacking everyone you hold in high esteem. I'm also very guilty of pre-judging people before I meet them from their posts on here. It's not really fair on the people involved but once it's done it's hard to take back. Anyway Jamie, I've known you for several years and your always the voice of reason. Your posts have been very passionate and made great sense, I wish I could explain myself as well as you do so there's no need for you to apologise to anyone. Titties and beer will put a smile on everyones face
Hi, I just wanted to put my two cents in... first I was really glad to read these posts because I was starting to wonder and worry, if my idea or opinion wasn't the norm then I would get lambasted like I've seen others . I thought this forum was to meet people and have fun, though we may not all agree on everything. I've become addicted to this site like I'm sure a few of you. Although I may not agree with someone's idea and if I feel the need to comment I try not to be nasty. I can't think of one person on this site that I haven't been interested in meeting one day. I may not agree with their idea's or opinion but that doesn't mean they are bad people.
