    Hi Everyone!!

My husband and I just purchased a place in Puerto Adventuras in the Mayan Riviera and are looking to furnish it. We are from Vancouver Canada and have looked around in Playa Del Carmen for patio furniture and things but found the prices really expensive. We will be renting out the place so don't want to spend huge dollars. At our Walmart here in Vancouver we can buy beautiful patio stuff for pretty reasonable dollars, we didn't see anything comparible in looks or qualitiy in Mexico. We will be furnishing the entire place two beds, two baths, roof top patio large living area. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Finding furniture at reasonable prices for the quality is TOUGH here, that's for sure. Check out the Telebodega, usually the best prices around for furniture, or Costco perhaps (though I find their patio stuff pretty darned pricey too).

We usually find what we want at Sams Club and then wait for the floor model to be sold at half price. Same with refris etc. other that that we've found the new Telebodega (south of town not in town) to be the best priced (PdC). Things are expensive here especially if they're not made here.

Ditto what Cancuck and Kathy said. Telebodega has tons of stuff. Costco, Sams and City Club usually have patio furniture that is decent looking quality. I have seen it at Walmart too but not the one in we call the Tourist Walmart, but at Gran Plaza.

Delivery should be fun. Good luck.

I'm still experiencing this problem after some years. I was shocked to finally find a wood dining table of better quality at Coppel in Las Amreicas. It's a nice spacious barstool height square table with 6 chairs, I recommend covering the chair cushions though.

Here is the link if you're interested Bienvenido a su Tienda Coppel
