Hello, we are planning a trip next week to Temptation with a group of 13! We are so excited...I was wondering about the restaurant attire for evening reservations, can men wear nice shorts instead of slacks (it's so hot)? Also, what does Bacchanal white night entail? Would white dresses for ladies work? Thanks for the info...can't wait until July 19th!
You need to invest in a pair white linen pants. Now the trick is finding underwear that matches your skin tone, so they won't show through because that looks really stupid. Me, I skip the panties altogether and just let the boys hang, and it feels f*cking great like your wearing a light towel, and much more comfortable than shorts. Plus wearing pants to dinner will make you look like you have a little class, like you been here before.
Show Me Cpl said it perfectly. If you must wear shorts, just hit the buffet. Don't be the guy everyone turns around to look at when you're turned away. Wear linen...not wool and you'll be fine. White Night is what you want it to be - just have fun with it. Wear your shorts!
would definitely suggest wearing slacks of some sort to any "reservations required" dinner spot for the guys. Cap it off with a short sleeve polo-type shirt & you'll be fine any night. Shorts are fine for buffet. For white night, pretty much anything goes for guys...ie white shirt w/light colored khaki shorts. The ladies can literally get away with anything that makes them feel good in white. Saw a bunch of nice dresses, all lengths last year.
No slacks! White linen pants, for god sakes it's Mexico, and you want to make sure your boys can breathe.
