My phone and every website I have looked on says Cancun is the same time right now as Boston. Delta shows my flight landing at a time that is 1-hour behind. The Delta clerk is adamant that it is 0300 there while it is 0400 here in Boston. I have USA Transfers scheduled and would hate them waiting an extra hour or worse just leaving me. Anyone got definitive info?
The crew will tell you what time it is when you land. USA gets your flight # when you book, and goes by that, not what time it is in Boston. So relax and think about those shots waiting for you at the pool
This time of year it is (what we know as) Central time...meaning an hour earlier then Boston. When most of North America does 'fall back' in a few weeks, their time won't change so it will be what we know as eastern time. Long story short, it depends when you are going and Donald is right, they will tell you the time when you land. Nikki
Thanks all. It was just weird that my phone was synced to cancun on my weather app and the "official" time showing online had it on EST (right now). I can now not stress on having to call USA Transfers when I get to Atlanta. As always, you guys are the best.
Donald's right about USA Transfers they go by your flight number so even if you happen to encounter a delay you'll have a driver there waiting for you... and as far as what time Cancun is on it's on the best time imaginable PARTY TIME
The state of Quintana Roo is now part of the the Eastern Time Zone (EST). However, they do not participate in Daylight Savings (EDT) Time so they are always on Eastern Standard Time (EST). In other words, during they are the same time as the east coast but during the summer they are the same time as the Mid-West.
Who cares what time it is as long as your at TTR having a blast and partying your ass off ?? :aktion069:rangehat:
