Hi everyone, we really want to book a professional photography session while we're at Temptation. We've seen others that have done this and think that it's a great idea. Just looking for the standard couple changes of clothes and shots on the beach as well as around the resort as others have done. We're going April 5th-13th. Any advice and guidance would be much appreciated on how we can go about trying to book this in advance. Thanks!

While we sat around the sexy pool, a gal came around selling professional photo shoots. We looked at her stuff and it looked very tempting... We didn't do it but it looked awesome!...Shouldn't be a problem at all scheduling that when u arrive.

The guys name is David Carranza
he posts on the TTR FB page
    you can search him
    there

I have not seen his work, but photo shoots do provide a nice sovereign of your trip.

There are always plenty of armature photographers too that go, if you want something a bit less professional and cheaper.

As with anything in Mexico i suggest you negotiate a price .

Carranza never responded back to us when we were there last time so not sure how reliable he is. We did use one of the guys housed at TTR a few years ago. He did good work and I think we ended up around 10 buck a pic for a cd of about 12 pics

The in house Photog (Miquel?) did fantastic job for us in August. Highly recommended.
No charge for the session, only pay after for the photos. Could be 1 photo or all. I would budget $200-$300 depending on your negotiation skills and how many you like.
I was not in a very good position to negotiate as I was really very happy with the photos and I think it was obvious. They give them to you on a DVD and We had them copied to a thumb drive as well.

I really dont think you have to book ahead, just stop by on day 2 after you sober up and make an appointment.

The in-house photographers are great! They know the best areas around the resort, so just let them know what you want (room, beach, spa, resort areas etc) and bring whatever change of outfits you want. There's no need to book in advance of your trip, just meet with them at their desk near the lobby and they will book you in. The 1-hr photoshoot is free and there is no obligation to purchase the photos.. My girlfriend has never done a shoot before and this was such an awesome experiance. They will talk you through some various sexy poses and get some unbelievable shots. You'll have a lot of fun. The photos blew my mind. As far as negotiating, you get to see all the photos first and take your time deciding which ones you want. They will throw out some ridiculous prices for various packages, but remember the ball is in your court. If you walk then they basically lose any oppertunity of a sale on those photos. That being said, you'll want to make sure the photographer gets their fair share because they do an awesome job and make it an amazing experiance. We ended up paying approximately $10 a photo for 12 photos. Well worth it!

Thanks everyone! We were not aware that they had in-house photographers so we'll definitely take advantage of that early in our trip. :)
