I am very concerned about my flight being cancelled with NorthWest Airlines. They are cancelling flights like crazy. I am going back to Cancun at the end of August. Can anyone give me some advise and some protocols of the airlines and about refunds etc...

Do I need to go ahead and try to reschedule or what?? Help please....

    wow....that really stinks!

I say, if you have the money to reschedule with some trip insurance on another airline, then it can be the backup for the Northwest one if they cancel...otherwise, if it isn't cancelled, you could still cancel the other under your trip insurace.

unless you have trip insurance on this ticket...then I would cancel and get my money back and book with someone else. just to be safe.

    good luck!

Is your ticket on Northwest refundbale?

If is is and you are truly worried about ti then I would cancel adn rebook.

But if it isn't and you'd end up losing lots of $$$ there may not be much you can do.

I just had USAir cancel my flight to Cancun last weel. Inconvienent as heck but they did put me ont he next available flight.

Perhaps you should call Northwest and see what happens if they cancel. Will they just rebook you on the next flight???

before you go cancelling your flight and lose big $$$ I think you know what Northwest's policy is on the flights they cancel.
