I hurt my leg this past week,, due to come to TTR for my first time on Monday.... Doc gave me go ahead to go as long as ** i don't do anything stupid**.. I can walk on it.. just slowly.. .. Im worried because in all pics I'm not seeing any railings in the pools. plus I see there is a vast shortage in poolside chairs...... I definitely don't want to be the burden on my girls trip.... anyone have any input here........
Get a pair of shoes or sandals with good grips for slippery surfaces. There are stairs and a railing to get into the pools, again, tiled surface to be careful. Chairs can be a bit of a pain given they fill up way too early poolside. I'm sure if you flag down one of the staff and say that you're injured they will help out and pull one up for you or something. Have fun and take care. Might want to wrap a tensor bandage or something around it to help stabilize it too?
If it gets really bad, check with the frontdesk manager. TTR has a couple of wheel chairs and you might be able to borrow one while you are there. We had a lady blow out her knee right be one trip and we actually paid to have one from a sister hotel taxied over and back, all of $30, for her to use for the week. There are wheel chair ramps everywhere. Jamie
your in March.... don't worry about being a drag. people are nice enough that if you are injured and they know it, they will give up a spot in a chair for you. I know I would but I don't think our times cross over. Things can be slippery around the pool so I would take dos equi's advice and get some good grip wet slippers for the pool. No one is looking at your feet anyways so don't be confused when someone say "nice shoes". You'll still have a blast.
Because you're already hurt, you'll be extra careful and probably the least likely one to take a tumble. In the unlikely event that something does happen, at least you'll be surrounded by trauma nurses! Go and have a good time.
