We have been repeat guest ms at DRM and know all the best rooms. We have been to Pearl only once for 2 days. We had a beautiful junior suite but it was far from everything. Can anyone recommend which would be the best rooms and why? thanks for the help!!
Will see if I can post some pics of the layout. At Pearl we like rooms 31 and 36 which are basic Ocean View rooms but the building is dead centre of the resort in building 4, facing the pool.
Rooms 31 and 36 are one step up from the walkway with 4-5 steps down off the patio onto the grass facing the pool and then rooms 33 and 34 are 4-5 steps down from the walkway to get to your room but then at ground level onto the grass
Stacia and I stayed for our one and only "week" at Pearl in the Penthouse over there. Room is HUGE, patio with hot tub (HUGE) on it is even more HUGE. Problem is, it's up 97 flights of switchback stairs, and way the heck and far gone from Everything. Not only will you be getting a great quads and glutes workout on the way up and mucho calves on the way down... you might break a sweat. So... in the exchange, it killed our enjoyment of the Penthouse experience. The room itself is great, though. Room service seemed to have issues finding it, too. Which brings me to the Master Suite with Plunge Pool. These rooms are much closer, there's more than just one of them and even if you can get one w8itht he plunge pool the room itself is great. Not a humongous mark-up for the uptick in quality of room, either.
@Stacia_and_John , thanks for providing that info. We’re doing the Penthouse Suites December 1-6 for our first trip and I was wondering what the walking situation was going to be like. Might be hard to stumble up that many flights of steps lol
