My friend and I (two 29 year old females) are booked to come for 4 nights 5 days at the end of August. After debating for a while we opted to pick Temptations - she is just out of a relationship, it was a great deal ($620 airfare included), we wanted adults only, we wanted a fun, party atmosphere. At first I saw activities and figured there would be plenty to do, ex. tequila darts, then I read it actually involved removing clothing. I'm certainty not a prude and have had my share of "experience," I can deal with the topless optional but I don't want people having sex next to me while I'm trying to enjoy a cocktail. I was hoping to socialize, meet new people (and by meet, I mean TALK to, and not be propositioned or made felt uncomfortable) enjoy the evenings, play some volley ball etc. I know I will NOT be getting a massage after reading more about that - (is that even legal?). Plus it seems like all couples. Anyways, I was wondering if there were any people that had gone and had been in similar situations and still had fun with friends. It just seems like all the fun activities are at the party pool and not really in between games.
Not exactly sure what you read and where you got these facts from but do more reading in this forum, read the trip reports and all the other real info..
I agree Kim... No sex in public areas and if u don't wanna do something, then don't do it. It's your call 100%
The general trip advisor, expedia, etc. were fine, it was actually details/trip review I saw on here that talked about some of the other items and two youtubes I googled (most of the videos were fine, it took some searching to find the ones that concerned me)

Yeah not sure where you got this info. I would suggest starting your research over. This place is anything you want it to be, that is why it is the most re-visited resort in Cancun Wow people really posted to this one quick. Jenessa and I love this place, 30 day till we go again
Our first time at TTR was last sept and we are going again the first week of sept this year. We did not see any sex in public. I did read a trip report from someone who just went and they did see some people having sex in the pool late at night. If it is going to happen that is most likely when, but I didn't see it last year. The atmosphere steers more toward party time, than sexy, although many of the games have an adult theme.
aww it's such a shame you are having second thoughts, the run up to any trip should be full of excitement not trepidation! I have been to Temptation 3 times and will be on my fourth visit with my single female friend when you are there. every time I have been I have had a blast which is why I keep going back. I have never experienced anything you are concerned about, certainly never saw anyone having sex, some nudity as part of tequila volleyball etc but if you don't want to then nobody will think anything about it. when my friend asked me to go on a girls trip there really wasn't much debate of where to go, I hope you discover there was nothing to worry about and I hope you both have the trip you deserve and want, see you there ladies x
hmm.. not sure if you took note of the posting date when these things happend, perhaps BBG times when it was a bit more on the wild side.. as other have stated.. its a big NO NO.. but as with any rules, people will try to break them so no one can guarantee it 100% that it wont happen but I doubt that it would be right next to you in the pool.. haha!.. :aktion054: its a fun place.. there is a quiet pool if you need a break from the party.. but I bet you will have a blast too!.. just go on the August Roll Call amd meet oithers that will be there the same time as you..
