Ha, I bet you thought this was going to be naughty :) :flash:

Booked for part of you trip for alpharooms and then booked the second part of your trip through alpharooms concurrently? What I am finding is that when I book for the full trip (9 nights) it is higher than if I book like 8 nights and then immediately request 1 more night it is almost $250 cheaper. The reason I can see is specific room availability...for part of the trip they are giving us a 'double-deluxe" and then for the last day it's "double-deluxe ocean view". I am sure that the rates are due to the different types of rooms.

We are going end of June and we have gotten the room we requested for the past 3-4 trips, so I am not really worried about the actual room.

So, has anyone done that before? Considered it? Should I risk it?

    Thanks for your responses!

Our last trip down we did it. We had originally booked one of the ultra cheap rooms from Alpharooms for last December. Then my flight didn't work out and I had to arrive 2 days earlier and then leave a day earlier. But I wasn't going to screw around with my original booking so I made another booking for 2 days at the beginning. All went well and I just had to go back to the front desk and recheck in after the first two days. We didn't have to change rooms.
