Someone in Vancouver said online that they use Ria to wire transfer money, but Ria's live chat says they're not here in Canada yet. To my fellow Canucks: do we have Ria?
Why not Paypal? I "wire" myself money from my US bank through my US Paypal account to my Mexican Paypal account, then to Banorte all the time. Its' quick and CHEAP.
Yes, but they don't offer that service here. Sounds strange, I know, but it happens a lot here. It's cuz we only have 35 million people, and a large number are French, who are demanding as hell that all services MUST be written in French. I gotta laugh out of timeshares in Mexico who absolutely will not let you do a presentation if you're French Canadian, because they've wiggled out of so many deals claiming that the ultimate contract should be in French.
What is "that service"? They don't let you pay another Paypal account or they don't let you tie a bank account to them?
Tristan, I think you're right, as I've been persevering thanks to you, and it's looking like I can do it. I have to wait till paypal sends my bank a test deposit.
Your Canadian Paypal/bank or your Mexican Paypal/bank? Remember, you have to have both, and the Mexican Paypal has to be opened in Mexico, I believe. Setting it all up can be a hassle, but afterward, it's really easy to make the transfers. Despite what Paypal says, my transfers are always complete in about 4 business days. If you don't have a Mexican Paypal, you should do that while you're waiting on your Canadian account to get linked up to your bank.
