wondering if anyone has gotten married at Temptation or in Cancun..... we are thinking about it but Steve said he thinks its pretty expensive. Just looking for some advise where to do it at.....I would assume at all other resorts, you need to stay there to get married.
We got married in Cancun and did 2 weeks. 1 week at the Riu Caribe to get married and then the next week at TR for the honeymoon.
I don't have any real information but while I was there in Feb. there was a wedding at Temptations. They preformed the ceremony on the beach in front of the quiet pool area and the seafood restaurant was closed and all set up with white linens. It looked beautiful. They also partied into the night with some great music. It looked liked they did a nice job. Sorry I don't have any other information.
thanks. I was able to find some info on the weddings they do there.... they are expensive considering it would just be the two of us.
Google Weddings with Cancun. You should find LOTS of info on getting married elsewhere. I am sure there are some places that you could do it without being at a hotel. I know when I was peeking into it for Isla there was lots of info. Weddings in Cancun are fairly common. You can do a civil (legal) or just get a civil in the states and do a ceremony there in Cancun (second is a bit easier than first as there are requirements of Spanish documents and how long you have to be in the country before the legal wedding can be performed first). Good luck.
