Has anyone gone to grand bahama island . I might go down for a week in june . Just wondering if you liked it and what there is to do there. I know this is off topic but thought I would ask . I've been to cancun before and just loved it. Changing it up a bit this time around. Keeping cancun on our list for next trip out with a few friends.
We have a timeshare there and spend two weeks every other year for the last 20 plus years. Heading back again in October. What would you like to know. Jamie
I would like to know if you can adopt me and take me on your vacations!!!! LOL What is the biggest difference atmosphere wise you see between Cancun and Bahama's??
The Grand Bahamas is our quite vacation.. There are no super clubs or anything like that. There are quite a few excellent small bars and entertainment going on, there is a casino, beautiful beaches, places you can go and be totally alone on the beach. You wake up in the morning and feel it's just fine to go sit by the pool for a couple of hours, come in and eat lunch and take a nap inside for 3 or 4 hours. Clean up and head out for the evening and if you're back at the condo before 11 you don't feel you've wasted a day. Much more laid back from our vacations in Cancun. Don't get me wrong, if you want a party you can find it, but it's not in your face 24X7. Jamie
For whatever it's worth....it made the tripadvisor 2008 top 10 caribbean destinations. I don't think you'll wish you hadn't gone if you book it. Michelle
just what I wanted to hear It is going to be our hooneymoon. We have both been to cancun and we went to Aruba before. We want to relaz after all this planning we've been doing. We also want to party alittle. And we want to do daytime activities some of the days. Aruba was amazing but we want to do something different. YA she read yesterday that it made the top ten. Thanks for the help- I knew I would get answers in here.
