We've used them for a couple of cruises. They're not bad, but you really have to do your homework and make sure that their "taxes" and nit picky little upgrade costs don't take you over the cost of booking on another site.
yes, watch out for hidden fees and add ons, they get you at the end, not sure if Temp is on this site but luxurylink.com is better.
Yes. Horrible, horrible, horrible, did I mention horrible? Experience with them trying to book Temptations. Yes, if you take into account the fees the deal is not as good as it initially seems but if you win the auction at the right price it WOULD save you money. I say would because there is a catch. I won an auction two years back that made it a pretty good deal. After you win you have to request your dates. They are supposed to get back to you within a set timeframe as to whether the dates are available. I think it was within 2 or 3 weeks. If the dates are not available then you can choose other dates. If they are not available you get your auction money refunded. So in November I requested valentines weekend 2011. Keep in mind they were not blackout dates they have listed in the auction. I figure if they are not available I will choose other dates. Along comes December and no word. I email support and I get form emails explaining it takes time to confirm the dates. Along comes January still nothing. So now I am in panic thinking I just want out so I can book with someone else. But they respond saying this is a non refundable trip and we are still working on your dates. So I can't book elsewhere because I don't want to be double booked. Finally at the very end of January they tell me TTR is sold out. I was able to cancel then and be refunded. i then paid extra through Expedia who still had rooms but man what a stressful horrible experience.
