http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-chatter/22808-post-your-travel-tip-day.html Lots of sunscreen. The stuff at the resort sore is a bit pricy and ther choice this year was limited, and the stuff they(sunshine girl) sell at the pool is very expensive.($60 for a couple of bottles). Tip money, you will always be served, but a few dollars seems to bring them back faster. A small bottle of baby powder, was so hot and humid last week, it was my best friend to freshen up and get rid of the clamy feeling Gatorade or equivalent with electrolytes in powder form.
You need to bring more bottoms and less tops! And, make sure you have a water-proof camera. Our pool photos were PRICELESS! And, I flew in Mountain Dew last year as it is my 'coffee' after a hangover. That was something I wished I didn't do. They ended up having it there in the gift shop!
Also, I wished we had brought more $1 bills. We ran out, then my hubby drunkenly starts tipping out 5s and 10s... makes a 'drink-for-free' resort VERY expensive VERY quickly. The silver lining is that you get EXCELLENT service, lol!
I always make a list when going on vacation.. Make sure to check the theme nights for while you're there and pack accordingly, etc.
lingerie for lingerie night A red dress A white dress with glow sticks School girl outfit if the group is doing it Thats a good newbie start
I swear by their aftersun lotion though, it's the only thing that prevents me having peeling "snake legs" when I get home. 2 weeks later and the tan still looks great! It smells divine too. :daisy:
Buy some Tervis insulated cups and bring them. Great for poolside drinking. So much better than the "solo cups" they serve from!
