Ok this really deserves to be in the 'chat' thread, but that place is dead, and just wanted to wish everyone a happy weekend! Hope you're all planning something fun and sexy to do! For those visiting TTR soon have fun and keep the place warm, and those like me wishing you were there, well it won't be long! I'm stuck in dreary old England where the weather is rubbish. Our kitchen has decided this is a good time sprout a leak :icon_sad: hopefully we can fix it because I don't even want to think about new extension...happy thoughts...holiday only 4 months away! :ladiesman1: Anyone else any thoughts for the weekend?
We are packing on this end! Just want next Friday to arrive so we can experience TTR finally We've been counting for for 7 months and it is finally so close so 4 months won't be too long for you guys!!
It's raining here, too! I feel your pain (except my kitchen isn't leaking thank goodness). At least you're all booked up for November! Let the countdown begin!
It has rained here for about 2 months straight and that is not an exaggeration. Not even funny any more. Can't even cut the grass because the ground is sodden. Our little old extension at the back of the kitchen has held solid for the 5 years we've lived in our house, but this year its finally found a leak somewhere. Leaked all over the filing cabinet and receipts we'd been storing up to sort into it at some point! Just leaving a bucket there at the mo and getting Russ to go up onto the roof and fix some tape on the seams over the weekend and hoping and praying that sorts it for now. Roof at the back is made out of hardboard and hope, so not looking good on keeping together much longer! Might suck up our TTR budget for 2013 if it has to be replaced :icon_evil:
We haven't had much rain here at all! The grass mostly is yellow and dry! Although, this week I haven't really seen it in the day time, since I've been working overnights all week. I still have tonight and tomorrow to go, but I'm looking forward to 7am on Sunday morning! I have 6 weeks from today, and boy do I need it!
Cannot walk on our garden any more at the moment because it is so waterlogged! Weather is meant to pick up over the weekend so hopefully can get out there and cut the jungle of the grass
We have a break from our rain right now, and it's starting to feel like a jungle here in SK with the heat and humidity. Reminds me of Cancun on the days I don't have to go to work. We've got a quiet weekend planned this time. Kurt has the early shift on Saturday and Sunday so we won't be partying like last weekend.
This is gonna be a fabulous weekend for us because it's the last one until TTR baby! Pretty stoked!! :mnm::mnm: Jackie
