Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent and fasting ... so tomorrow we'll have "goodies" at the office!
spring break falls in the middle of lent. kinda hard. what shall i give up then? shrove tuesday has to do with the using up of all the fat that is left over from winter nd you use it up that day for the fasting of lent, which takes you into the spring and food becomes more pleantiful again.. is that what wikpedia says or am i all wrong?
they're not even having pancakes at work today ..very upset :evil: i wonder if they would let me give up work for 40 days ... on religious grounds of course!

Ive just had pancakes!! My receptionist has just been down the shop where they are making them. I have just had a fruit one with lemon and sugar!!! Lushious!!!
Went round Sarahs last night and had 4 pancakes with sugar & lemon, 2 with Golden Syrup! And a glass of vino! :headbanger:
