So I don't often rant and rave and felt bad that I probably did a bit too much ranting and raving on cancuncare. I have been on this site almost from its inception. I think I was actually on the site prior to the date on my profile due to a server move or something. So I had a little problem with Alpharooms changing the name on one of my rooms. It was really the hotel that did not want to change the name probably due to the very low rate. Alpharooms did not want to refund my money. I made many phone calls to UK and the hotel to work it out. So someone from alpharooms made contact with me on cancuncare. I gave my story and guess what I got my money back. So the moral of the story is that I have known Steve for a long time. I have met many friends on this site. I am glad that I met some new friends on my recent trip. I don't think I would have received a dime back from Alpharooms if it were not for cancuncare. This site has had a great 10 years and I bet it will continue for many more because of the way Steve manages the forum and conducts business. Oh, and I will probably go back to Temptations but we may start splitting our time at Desire and Temptations. The problem is when you get to either one of the resorts you don't want to leave to go to the other one. But I have friends at both places that I have to make it to see. James and Kristy
That is great to hear you two. And they ended up not making a name change after all with our booking. We just told them that Glenn was our travel agent and they didn't blink twice, even forgot to have us sign their little waiver sheet until check-out. Good to hear alpharooms made good for you.
