I missed this by a day As of 5th August 2012 Cancuncare.com is 10 yrs old. On Aug 5th 2002 I had nothing better to do one night. I registered the name cancuncare.com and started my first website. The site started as a little hobby to put some pictures online and to write a few articles offering advice to those visiting Cancun and Temptation. For me then, it was something different to do rather than watch TV after work. A few months later I started a forum. I was already a member of other Cancun forums, long since gone, and realised it could be done better. I never knew the site would grow to what it is today and be responsible for us moving to Cancun to live full time 2 years after starting. In the 10 years we have been running thousands of friendships have been created, many of which are now life long and extend to all corners of the planet. We might not quite be Facebook, which started a full 2 years after cancuncare.com, but I'm pleased with how things have gone and I hope in 10 years time we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary. It hasn't always been easy and there's been a few ups and downs, but we have come through. People often compliment me on the site and what it stands for, the friendships it creates, and the fun times we all have together. I always reply that cancuncare would be nothing with just me.... I'd be talking to myself. It is you guys who make it what it is, and for that I truly thank you. In 2022, all being well, I'll make another similar thread celebrating our 20th
