Hello Everyone! It has almost been 7 months since my wife and I have been to TTR-Cancun so we are in need of our TTR fix. Both times we have been there, we went late September to early October. We were considering booking another trip, but going over Halloween this time. We would appreciate any feedback we could get from other couples who have been there at the same time. Would you want to go again during that time? Thanks in advance for all your great feedback.

We have gone to BBG/TTR for Halloween 3 times so far and this October will be the 4th. Definitely a fun time and the pool water is still warm enough to get in!

And yes it is Hurricane Season... in fact there was one last year that flirted with the Cancun area and we were lucky enough to transfer our trip to this year - TG for trip insurance. Despite that, it's still worth trying to go...

Halloween last year was a blast ( other than that i don't know how to describe it) The water in the pool was a Little cold but we all heated it up just fine. you will not be disappointed. We'll be there on the 27th so come on down.

We were there the last week of October in 2010 and 2011. In 2010 it was 90 degrees everyday and the only rain we saw was traveling to the airport. This past Halloween there was a hurricane threatening, it did downgrade to a tropical storm. We saw rain everyday, but we also had 6-10 hours of beautiful sunshine everyday. We felt the weather minimally effected our trip and we are planning on returning again this October. It is a great crowd, the resort is about 60% capacity, and the Halloween party is a blast! If you are putting it up to a vote, put us down for a "yay"

Last year the weather was really bad in our opinion. The hurricane missed us but they borded up the hotel, took all the chairs and beds away and partied indoors for alot of it. We got almost a foot of rain judging by how overfull the pool was on several occasions before they drained it back down. We will most likely be down there again this halloween hoping for better weather. If we only went once per year we wouldn't risk it.

We were there last Halloween although our trip was delayed/rescheduled due to the hurricane. It was a great time, met more wonderful people as usual. One downside is the days are short so the pool gets in the shade from the buildings a little early so it gets a little chilly. Nothing a few shots and whipped cream can't overcome. One very good plus is the trip is about 25-30% cheaper than the high season. We would go again, maybe not this year but you never know.

Yo Brent and April, anytime you go to Cancun in October, definitely pay the extra cash for the trip insurance, especially this year as the hurricane season looks to be a little stronger than in year's past. We will miss you when we are at Temptation next week. :biggrinbandit:
