Honestly, there are not too many people from Nova Scotia on here. I'm from NS originally (still only a few hours away). There are only a small handful from NS, PEI, NB and that's it. Good Luck! Nikki
I wouldn't worry to much Halifax IMO is the best party city in Canada... never had a problem meeting people there... Love that city

Halifax We are from Halifax Check out the Lower Deck Pub some night (downtown on the waterfront). It will give you a good taste of East Coast good times for sure. Also, if you are inclined, try a donair. It's the official food of Halifax. Extra sauce is a must! Have a blast in our beautiful city!! T&D
We were in your lovely city not that long ago and we went along the waterfront had dinner in a couple of the restaurants there. One on a pier can't remember the name of it but it was real close to Theodore the tugboat. ( Canadian kids will understand) and the other was the pub on the waterfront as well both excellent seafood. Really if you're on the coast you gotta have seafood, I feel sorry for those that have allergies to it cause man there is nothing like fresh caught anything. Unfortunately we didn't get to take in too much of the night life momma had us on a schedule to sightsee a lot of things. We were only there for a week and that is way to short to do that beautiful city and its surroundings. We went to Peggy's Cove from there saw the Titanic grave sites the air disaster memorial, we drove to Stellarton as the missus was born in the New Glasgow hospital. Stopped for a real east coast breakfast fried baloney and eggs. A great trip next time we go it'll be for at least a 2 weeks stay cause the night we were at the pub they had a band setting up but then it could have just been a jam session either way we got some music in during dinner and I'd have stayed much longer but being up at 5 and packing a full day in by 10 I was starting to feel it.
There always something to do in halifax. Great place to party. Going in 2 week for the Everything To Do With Sex Show. going to be a great time for sure!! warm up before TTR
